Year 7 catch-up premium
The Literacy and Numeracy catch up funding gives the academy additional funding of £500 for every student in Year 7 who were well below expected progress in reading and/or maths at the end of Key Stage 2.
The funding is calculated by data from the school census and provisional results from the previous year’s national curriculum assessments at Key Stage 2.
Our academy uses the funding to support students dependent on their needs. Most students will be involved in at least one of the interventions. Programmes are chosen which are the most effective for the individual students.
