New Ofsted report 2023
E-ACT West Walsall Academy had an Ofsted inspection in January 2023. The inspectors were delighted with what they saw when they were at our academy for two days, and awarded us a ‘Good’ rating.
This is a fantastic achievement for our academy and it cements the outstanding progress we have made. Take a look at some of the comments from the report:
‘Leaders have developed an ambitious and well-sequenced curriculum, including in the sixth form.’
‘Leaders’ actions to develop the curriculum are leading to improved pupil outcomes.’
Well-being and SEND
‘Leaders identify and support pupils with SEND effectively. Pupils with SEND can successfully learn key knowledge and achieve well.’
‘Pupils value the support they receive from their teachers in helping them to be successful.’
‘Warm and respectful relationships characterise life at this school. Pupils are happy and safe.’
‘Pupils behave very well.’
